Intermittent Fasting
Updated: Jan 30, 2021
Simply put, #intermittentfasting is all about #eating your #food within a certain window of time. Most commonly, I have learned through reading, many people eat in an eight hour window often referred to as #16:8 and that means you #fast for 16 hours while eating for 8. This is what I started with. I got up to an almost 52 hour fast if my exhausted memory serves me well! It also helps to make sure you schedule the fasting hours during your #sleeping window. Other neat ones I have learned about are #OMAD, which means one meal a day. Cannot get more straight forward than that. As mentioned on the keto page, it is human nature to offer our advice on what one should or should not do with their wellness and nutritional choices. However, intermittent fasting is not #starving yourself. It is what historically, hunters and gatherers did, they ate in a certain time frame. Likely why obesity was not the issue it was that it now presents. Literally some food for thought! #Questions? Happy to share!
